Jim applied for the role of Independent Assessor as he saw the opportunity to have a real input into the selection of those who manage so much of our public life. Jim has extensive experience and knowledge from working in the public sector for a significant period - from the making of legislation to delivering the frontline services as well as practical experience in recruitment and selection. Jim has been able to apply some of this experience by working on a number of occasions for a private sector recruitment company. Jim also enjoys his voluntary work as an active governor of two schools.
